NYCC Wave 6: Warner Bros, Harry Potter, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera, and LOTR

Wave 6 is here and it looks amazing. Kicking us off is an amazing 6-inch Pop from Lord of the Rings. You won’t want to pass on this Glow-in-the-Dark Balrog super sized pop! Moving on to animation line, we are getting a new edition for Looney Tunes fans and 3 new editions for Hanna-Barbera fans. First up is the super speedy Speedy Gonzales in Pop form. Speedy is limited to 3,500 pieces, so you will have to be as quick as Speedy to catch him. Next we have the adorable Lippy the Lion Pop and Hardy Har Har Pop!s. Both these are limited to 1,000 pieces each. Wrapping up the Hanna-Barbera edition is a new Dorbz Ridez featuring Wacky Races Gravel Slag with his Boulder mobile. Finishing up this wave is new editions to Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts lines. Leading us off is the very riddikulus Pop of Neville’s Boggart- Snape dressed up as Neville’s Grandmother! Luna Lovegood and Rock Candy fans will love the new Rock Candy: Luna in her Griffindor Lion Head, ready to cheer them on in their Quidditch match! The final item in this wave is from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is one of the most dangerous Dark Wizards of all time Gellert Grindelwald in Pop form. SDCC Wave 7: Warner Bros (Harry Potter, The 100, Supernatural, and LOTR)

Wave 7 is here and it’s all Warner Bros. First up from The 100 is Lincoln as Reaper Pop. Reaper Lincoln is limited to 750 pieces. Supernatural fans have been asking and Funko finally delivered! Joining the Pop! Rides line is Baby with Dean. Baby is not numbered, just a limited edition so there is a good chance this ride will be shared. Next up is a Lord of the Rings Pop! 2 pack featuring Aragon and Arwen. This 2 pack is just limited edition. Moving on to Harry Potter. First up is Harry Potter on Broom. He is looking sharp while reaching out for the Golden Snitch. Harry is joined by the lovely Luna Lovegood with Glasses. Both of these Pop!s are just limited edition so they should be shared. Rounding out the wave from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them is a 6 inch Occamy Pop!. This concludes wave 7. Check back on Wednesday for Wave 8!

Lord of the Rings Pops are back! Five new Pops have been announced for the Pop Movies line – Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Gandalf the Grey, Saruman, the Nazgul, and the wicked looking 6″ Balrog. And what’s a new line without a chase figure, right? You’ll also get a chance to pick up the chase “cursed” version of Frodo. Preorder them from Entertainment Earth for your chance to get the chase Frodo!

Funko Pop! Smaug – Metallic Gold Variant

New Hobbit/Lord of the Rings Pops

The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies is the final conclusion of the grand journeys of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and the Company of Dwarves. Right along side the movie will be the release of three new Pops – Tauriel, Sauron and Smaug. Smaug will be a super-sized 6″ Pop and can be found in a 1/12 variant with yellow eyes!
