Hockey fever is gripping Funko’s home state of Washington with the NHL’s announcement of a new franchise in Seattle beginning with the 2021 season. Funko is getting in on the excitement early with the latest addition to its Pop! NHL collection.
The new set features 12 new Pop! Hockey vinyl figures, including two pairs of teammates in the New Jersey Devils’ Taylor Hall and Nico Hischier, as well as William Karlsson and goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury of the expansion Las Vegas Knights. Fellow goalie Pekka Rinne makes his Funko debut as the collection’s only other netminder, while former Devil left winger Zach Parise dons his Minnesota Wild sweater.
Former Team USA Olympic star T.J. Oshie gets immortalized in Pop! form, as does the Boston Bruins’ Patrice Bergeron, the Buffalo Sabres’ Jack Eichel and Claude Giroux of the Philadelphia Flyers.
Evgeni Malkin from the Pittsburgh Penguins gets an away jersey variant, while the New York Rangers’ Mats Zuccarello rounds out the collection.
