Hot off the press! Brian Mariotti is entering his post-Pop! phase.
The former Funko CEO has partnered with Dolly Ahluwalia to co-found Thrilljoy Collectibles.
Details about the new venture are scarce right now, and as of this writing the new company’s Instagram had fewer than 350 followers. But that’s rapidly changing.
Ahluwalia, also a former Funko executive from back in the day, comes from XO The Bijoux Box, a company that believes that jewelry should be a form of expression, rather than just an accessory.
Mariotti stepped down from his role as CEO at Funko in September of 2023 after more than five years in Everett, in lieu of an advisory role.
