Hello everyone! I’m Chantal Kloei. I’m based in Los Angeles & I love hanging out with my pup; Bucky. I’m an ultra-geek! I’m both a pop culture & a POP! addict. Collecting POPs is definitely one of my favorite hobbies. I absolutely LOVE the detail that goes into the pieces. Also, this hobby has led me to meeting some amazing fellow collectors. 1. How long have you been collecting Funko products?
I started officially collecting on late November of 2014!
2. What was your first Funko item?
My first Funko item was actually given to me by my little brother. He bought a series 1 Disney Mystery Mini for himself, & I forgot who he wanted to get. He ended up with a Mickey Mouse & he knows how big of a Disney/Mickey fan, so he gave it to me. I’ve kept it ever since.
3. How many Funko collectibles do you own?
Not that quantity matters, but I have 150+ Funko items.
4. Do you have a favorite line or a line you would like to see?
I have a couple of favorite lines; Disney, Marvel, Game of Thrones, & Star Wars! I would love to see a “Parks & Recreation” line, & it looks like Funko’s finally releasing some figures from the show.
5. What are your Top 5 “must own” items in your collection?
My 9” Maleficent POP is definitely in my top 5! Also, the DeLorean Time Machine with Marty McFly from Back to the Future POP Ride, the platinum Comikaze exclusive signed Stan Lee, Boo from Monsters Inc., & the Daenerys & Drogon POP Ride. Though, my selection for this may vary every week or so.
6. What is your best deal/favorite find story?
My cousin visited a local comic book store that also sells POPs & he found the San Diego Comic Con exclusive flamehead Anger that I’d been wanting. He called me asking if I wanted it so he can pick it up for me (it happened to be the last one the shop had, too). I told him that I couldn’t afford it at the time. He came to my house & went “straight to the bathroom”, which was near my bedroom. He came out & requested if I can get something from my room for him to borrow. I go to my room & I was trying to look for whatever it was he wanted to borrow in my closet. My cousin came in to see me scrambling through my closet & he says “turn around & check your bed”. My oblivious self went, “huh??” & turned around. On top of my bed was flamehead Anger in all his fiery glory. 
He bought it for me as a birthday present since my birthday was only a couple of days away. Shoutout to my cousin Ken! This might not be the traditional “find” story, but it’s a literal find, which is also cool. 
7. What line are you most excited about that is yet to be released?
I’m ecstatic about the release of the Parks & Recreation POP line!
8. Do you complete sets with every variant or are you happy to own certain Pops for example in a line?
I’m personally perfectly content with owning certain POPs in a line. For me, I pick up a piece, exclusive or not, based on its details.
9. Favorite Social Networking group for News,Buying,Trading or Selling?
I’m a member of several Funko collectors’ groups on Facebook, I follow lots of collectors on Instagram, & I also follow Funko’s official social media accounts for all the news!
10. Do you collect any other types of collectibles?
Before collecting Funko items (mostly POPs), I collect keychains.
11. If you could design a Line OR add variants to an existing Line what would you create?
I would personally love to see more from Back to the Future. From the first, second, or third movie. I would LOVE to see POP Rides to complete the trilogy. Back to the Future is my absolute favorite movie & while I love the existing POPs from the line, I want more!
12. You win a contest for one single random Pop. What is the one Pop you would dread to see when you opened the box and why??
This is maybe the typical response; but the POPs I’d dread to see is anything from the Duck Dynasty line & Donald Trump because I’m generally not a fan of both. 
13. Any advice for new collectors OR something you wish you knew when you started collecting? Words of Wisdom?
Advice for new collectors –– collecting isn’t a competition, be considerate of other collectors (be fair!), & do LOTS of research (either for certain lines/pieces you want &/or retailers). Collecting is supposed to be fun! Make lots of friends in the collecting community so you can help each other out.
