Pop! Altered Beast Takes On Werewolf Form

Funko returns us to Ancient Greece – or the late 80s, depending on your love for old school video games – with its new line of Pop! Altered Beast figures.

Centurion takes the fight from the Underworld to your shelf this summer in Werewolf form, courtesy of an 8-Bit version of the classic Sega video game. Those looking to reach the final stage versus the demon god Neff can do so with a gold version of Werewolf that will be exclusive to GameStop.

Pop! Altered Beast doesn’t begin its rescue mission of Athena until August, but you can preorder yours today.

8-bit Pop Madness Continues with TMNT and Horror

Funko doesn’t seem to be slowing down on their recently debuted Pop! 8-Bit line, as today we get the first look at seven new Pops done in blocky, 8-bit styling. TMNT fans will be able to pick up the four shelled heroes – Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello – while horror fans can add Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, and the class Alien.

NYCC Wave 5: Video Games

The fifth wave of Funko NYCC exclusives has been announced. Sticking with themed waves, wave five will include various Video Game releases, heavy with new additions to the Pop 8-Bit series. The series of blocky, 8-bit styled figures will include ~~a Smurf~~ Dig Dug from the classic arcade game, and Shredder and five versions of the Foot Soldier from the TMNT arcade game. With the exception of the orange version, the Foot Soldiers will all be limited to 500 pieces. In addition to the 8-bit Pops, look for LolBit, the talking head from Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location.

NYCC Wave 2!

In case you missed it yesterday, Funko announced their second wave of New York Comic Con exclusives! This wave had their DC Comics offerings. It also showcased Funko’s debut “Pop! 8-bit” figure, with the first character being Batman. (Who else?)

The other two DC Pops that will be available at the con include a “First Appearance” Superman and a black chrome Batman!

A three pack of Dorbz from the classic Batman TV series and a colour variant of Funko’s Batmobile with action figure round out this wave.
