Supercharging Your Pop Price Guide Wish List Experience

Wish Lists

We’re playing the role of genie when it comes to landing you that coveted Funko Pop! without the hassle of discovering a magic lamp.

That’s thanks to our Wish List tools, which we’ve recently upgraded so that you’ll never miss out on a great deal ever again.

With our new, more powerful, Wish List you can determine which items you want to receive emails for whenever they arrive on the Pop Price Guide Marketplace.

Take Charge of Your Wish List Emails

To access this, click the My Stuff dropdown menu on the hobbyDB homepage and select Wish List Management. From there, simply toggle the item you’d like to (or wouldn’t like to) receive an email alert for and use the Batch action to Enable or Disable.

You’ll now find more valuable details within each Wish List Email that you receive, such as Estimated Value and Price.

Filter it, Find it Faster

But we’re not done there!

Even more excitingly, we’ve given you the option to tailor your PPG Marketplace searches to specifically filter for items on your Wish List!

It’s easy! Open the Marketplace and choose the appropriate My Wish List toggles among the filters on the left hand side of the page.

Enabling and Disabling Email Alerts

With tons of new items listed for sale, that means tons of wish list email notifications have been going out. Sadly sometimes this can lead to spam reports from older, inactive accounts. Plus all of these wish list emails, although really valued by most, do start to cost a lot of money when we’re sending them every day.

To combat this, if you haven’t added any new items to your Collection in the last 12 months, then we have temporarily deactivated your Wish List emails.

If you still want to receive these emails, you can enable them again in your user settings under “Buying” –

You can also enable and disable Wish List notifications on individual items when adding them to your Wish List, or from within your Wish List dashboard here

Give it a try and let us know what you think! We’d love to hear your suggestions when it comes to fully maximizing your Wish List experience.

As always, we’re happy to answer your questions or address any concerns by messaging us at support@hobbydb.com.

  1. I’ve been wanting to add “negative filters” from my database searches. Things like removing signed items or prototype items from my HobbyDB search would be helpful if that can be implemented in some way.

    1. Yes, that would be nice. We are more likely to first allow you to select what you want to see versus not see. We are also considering enabling saving those as a standard setting.
