YouTube Channels We Love: Funko Edition

YouTube

Some people like to enjoy music on YouTube. Others prefer watching videos of cute animals. Us? We spend our time watching our fellow collectors doing what they do best.

We’re on a mission at Pop Price Guide to become the ultimate resource for Funko collectors worldwide. That includes the realm of YouTube, where we routinely turn to the “experts” for the latest news, unboxings and tips for spotting fakes. And much more.

We’re talking about the likes of PPG Anti-Fake Coalition partners such as Dr. Applesauce and Tio de Barba Branca (Whitebead Uncle) — the latter who recently surpassed 2,100 video uploads!

Other favorites include one of the biggest Funko YouTube channels Top Pops with its 325,000+ subscribers and PPG Squad contributor Gastlecast.

So we thought we’d share some of our favorite YouTube channels that we regularly tune to for educational, revelational and, of course, entertainment purposes.

Check out some samples of their work below.

Then stay tuned! For those who collect more than just Funko, we’ll soon be sharing our favorite YouTube channels for action figures and diecast models.

  1. Os vídeos do Tio da Barba Branca são os melhores para quem quer saber se tem um pop original ou falso. O melhor canal de colecionismo.

Uncle Whitebeard’s videos are the best for those who want to know if they have an original or fake pop. The best collection channel

  2. Tio da Barba Branca’s channel is the best source to compare originals and fakes Pops. For us in Brazil it is the best source of reference. The channel has shared over 2k videos and continues to grow. It is worth checking.

  3. For sure the channel I Could Kill For a Pop is the dopest one in Brazil, lots of unboxings and hauls of new stuff! He’s the Brazilian Dis.trackers that’s why we call him Dis.ego. Cheers 🤘

  4. Tio da Barba Branca (white-bearded uncle) is the best YouTube Chanel for funko!
I love this guy, video information is good for collectors!!!

  5. Most of these people are so chill so friendly and all-around even fun to watch. I say most for a reason.

Tristen aka Top Pops is the exception. I was a fan of his for a couple of years up until about 2 weeks ago. The reason for leaving his camp would be something I never expected him to do. In a recent video, he was listing his personal grades for Pops from canceled (which I guess is worse than an F) all the way to an A. So he brings out various ones and yeah I may or may not agree with some of where he’s putting some of the pops grade wise but all in all he was close if not spot on. Then in the middle of the video, Tristen pulls out a Cara Dune from Mandalorian Pop for grading. He instantly says nope this one is going straight to the canceled section. What? Why? No reason just that pop is canceled. So the actor did nothing wrong all Gina Corano did was give her honest opinion and share it on social media. Not even anything bad. Yet Tristen in all of his blind sheeple SJW menta attitude ways just has to cancel her. Maybe he did not like or agree with Gina’s opinion or tweets ok fine he has that right. Why take it out on the character that she played on the Mandalorian show. In past videos, he liked that character and went on to say he wanted to collect all of the Mandalorian pops. Very one-sided very ignorant and very overly judgemental of you Tristen. So for that reason, I and many of my fellow pop collectors have recently canceled you and your youtube channel.

  6. All great channels but from an Australian point of view try Devoted to Disney Downunder, they do a lot of funko including local mystery boxes. i find them very entertaining.

  7. I agree fantastic channel. They don’t just collect FUNKO. They share parts of there whole collection which includes hot toys, statues and more and it’s not just Disney. They collect from so many different lines always something new and interesting to see
